COMMISSIONER MESSAGE
Thanks for participating in our 2009 March Madness pool.

We hope you enjoyed watching the tournament and verifying why we don't pick sports teams as our livelihood!

Please keep our practice in mind when you see that next patient with a messed up grill.

Thanks again for participating.

What are the rules?
The rules can be found on the rules page. The commissioner determines the rules. If you need clarification of any of the rules, contact the pool commissioner.

What browsers are compatible with the website?
Internet Explorer 6+, Mozilla Firefox 1.5+, Opera 8+, Netscape 7+, Safari 2+. Support for other browsers is possible but not verified. The "Export" to Excel function does not work in IE5.5 or IE6. Javascript must be enabled on your browser for many pages of the website including the entry bracket.

I played last year. Do I have to signup again?
Yes. You will create a new Login ID and Password for this year.

How do I change my Login ID or password?
The login ID that is used for logging in to the website cannot be changed. This is required to maintain consistency as the game progresses. To change your login password, you must first be logged in to the website. Then, click "Member Profile" in the top-right corner of the website and enter a new password. Then, click the "Save" button.

What is the "Stay Logged In" box?
The "Stay Logged In" box appears next to the Login ID and password spaces at the top of the website. If the "Stay Logged In" box is checked when you login, you will remain logged in to the website on that computer until you click the "Logout" button. This is a security risk, so only check the "Stay Logged In" box when you are the only person with access to your computer. In particular, never check the "Stay Logged In" button when logging in from a public computer.

The "Stay Logged In" button doesn't work.
The "Stay Logged In" button must be enabled in your member profile in order for it to work. Also, your browser must be set to allow "cookies" in order for the "Stay Logged In" feature to work. Refer to your browser "Help" or "Settings" to enable cookies.

How do I make my picks? How do I submit my bracket?
You must be logged in to submit a bracket. Check the "Rules" page for information on the deadline for submitting brackets. If the deadline has not passed, click the "Add Bracket" link in the menu to enter a new bracket in the pool. Once the new bracket has been added, you will be able to fill it out.

Can I make changes to my bracket? How do I edit my bracket?
First, make sure you are logged in. On the pool HOME page, move your mouse cursor over the "Options" item next to the bracket name in the list of your brackets. Alternatively, use the "My Brackets" link in the "Reports" menu to see the list of your brackets and click the "Edit" button there. For each game, click the team that you think will win until the entire bracket has been filled out. Be sure to always click the "Save" button when you are finished editing your bracket. Important Note Depending on the bracket deadline, you may not be able to edit your bracket in which case the "Edit" button will not be present (see the Rules page for deadline information).

Can I delete my bracket?
Brackets can be deleted until the deadline passes according to the rules. When you delete a bracket, you are permanently removing it from the pool. To delete a bracket, first make sure you are logged in. Then, on the home page you will find a list of your brackets. Move the cursor of the "options" link next to the bracket name and select "Delete Bracket". Alternatively, use the "My Brackets" link in the "Reports" menu and click the "Delete" button next to the bracket name. If there is no "Delete" button, then the deadline to delete the bracket has passed.

If I want to have more than one bracket, do I need to sign up more than once?
The rules allow only one bracket per person. You are not allowed to submit multiple brackets by signing up more than once.

I am unable to print or send my bracket
Printing and sending requires that you enable "pop up windows" in your browser. Check your browser's help or settings for information on how to enable pop-up windows from the website. You must have provided an email address when you signed up in order to use the "Send" button. To edit your email address, login and click "Member Profile" at the top-right of the website. To read the email that contains the bracket your email account must allow HTML-formatted messages.

How do I change my member profile (name, address, email, etc.)?
To change your member profile, you must first be logged in to the pool website. Click "Member Profile" in the top-right corner of the website or select "My Member Profile" in the "Reports" menu. After making changes to your profile, click the "Save" button. Some information can only be modified by the commissioner.
